Common Issues & Solutions
Error message on clicking "transcribe"?
Ensure you've selected a valid audio/video file. Scriber Pro supports most formats but currently does not support streaming formats (M3U8, HLS, DASH, etc.). Large files may take a moment to begin processing.
Transcription hanging or loading endlessly?
Check your available disk space. Scriber Pro needs temporary space for processing. If your disk is nearly full, free up some space by deleting unnecessary files and try again.
Export issues?
Scriber Pro typically works without additional permissions. However, if you're experiencing export issues, try going to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Files and Folders. Click the + button to add Scriber Pro and grant it folder access. If problems continue, please email support.

• macOS 14.0 (Sonoma) or later
• 8GB RAM recommended (4GB minimum)
• 2GB free disk space
Supported Formats
• Audio: MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, FLAC, OGG, WMA, AIFF, CAF, and more
• Video: MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, WebM, FLV, WMV, MPEG, M4V, and more
• Export: TXT, PDF, DOCX, RTF, MD, JSON, SRT, VTT, CSV
If Scriber Pro doesn't support your desired format, please email us and we'll do our best to add it in the next update.
